Our Loan Rate Discount Program offers .10%  rate reduction (up to 1.75% cumulative) for:

  • 15% or more down payment on vehicle loans (qualifies for .20%)

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP Plus)

Newly purchased vehicles depreciate the second they are driven off the dealer’s lot. When a vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and not recovered, your loan balance could be more than the vehicle is worth. GAP will cancel the difference between the insurance settlement and the loan balance. Police FCU’s GAP coverage includes additional benefits.

  • Deductible Assistance – $500 deductible assistance will cancel part of your loan or loan payment when a deductible occurs through a comprehensive or collision claim with your primary auto insurer.
  • Up to 125% loan-to-value ratio
  • Up to 7 skipped payments allowed
  • Up to 84 month loan repayment term

Mechanical Repair Coverage

An affordable extended warranty contract to help protect you from unexpected vehicle repair costs. Police FCU’s MRC coverage offers benefits such as:

  • Rental Reimbursement – up to $35/day for 5 days (up to an additional 5 days with verified parts delay) from day one.
  • 24-Hour Emergency Roadside Assistance – includes towing, battery jump-start, fluid delivery, flat tire assistance and lock-out service. Up to $100 per occurrence.
  • Travel Expense Reimbursement – Up to $200 per day for 1 – 5 days for food, lodging and rental expense when a covered breakdown occurs more than 100 miles from home. Restrictions apply.
  • Deductible Options – The per visit deductible is $0, $100, $250 or $500. Per visit means one deductible regardless of the number of repairs.
  • Transferrable – If the vehicle is sold privately, the coverage can be transferred for a fee, which may add resale value and appeal. In the event of the borrower’s death, the policy is transferable to a spouse, domestic partner or legal representative of the member. Can vary by state.
  • Good At any Authorized Repair Facility in the U.S. or Canada
